Your frients know quite a bit about what goes on around your home.

Your Entry Sensor 2 Pro knows when a door or window is opened. Your Smart Plug Mini 2 can keep an eye on energy consumption. And your Water Leak Detector is always on the lookout for unwanted water.

But that doesn't mean we get to know any of it.

frient devices don't depend on a frient cloud to do their job. Instead, they use Zigbee to communicate with the smart home system you have chosen. So while your frients are busy keeping an eye on your home, we're happy to stay out of the way.

No unnecessary detours

When a smart home device detects something, that information needs to go somewhere. For some devices, that means taking a trip through the manufacturer's cloud before reaching your smart home.

Your frients dont't need to make that trip.

They communicate with the smart home platform you have chosen, without sending your data through a frient cloud first.

What happens from there depends on the platform and setup you have choosen.

Our part is simple: we make the devices and make sure they can do their job without needing your everyday smart home data along the way.

And for a truly private smart home, choose a smart home hub that doesn't make your data take any unnecessary detorus through their cloud either.
