The Electricity Meter Interfaces are now certified as Works with SmartThings

Remember when we shared that more frients had joined SmartThings? Well, the frient group has grown again.

We're happy to share some lovely news: 3 more frients are now certified as Works with SmartThings. So, if you use SmartThings and want better insight into your electricity consumption, your smart home just got three new energy-aware frients to hang out with.

The new SmartThings-certified frients are: 

• EMI Norwegian HAN
• Electricity Meter Interface 2, P1
• Electricity Meter Interface 2, LED

Made for different meters

These three frients all do the same helpful thing in slightly different ways: they help you keep track of your electricity consumption, spot peaks in your usage, and become a bit more energy-aware in everyday life. They're just made for different types of electricity meters, so more households can find a frient that fits.

The EMI Norwegian HAN is made for Norwegian electricity meters with a compatible HAN interface. The Electricity Meter Interface 2, P1 is made for meters with an enabled P1 port. And the Electricity Meter Interface 2, LED works with electronic meters that have an LED indicating power consumption.
